Angel Eyes

I was vacationing in Vegas one year and wondering from casino to casino in a drunken haze when I ended up at New York, New York. The casino was impressive enough, but what made me stop and listen was a young man singing on a stage on top of one of the bars. He was singing the song “Angel Eyes” and he looked like an angel himself atop the stage with the spotlight shining down on him and his blond hair.

His voice was very moving as he sang the song with such emotion as I leaned in the doorway and listened to him sing. It was the highlight of my night.

I came across the memory years later and decided to record the song myself.
