Welcome to RettaStone.com

Singer Retta Stone

This is the story of an independent artist… a new female country singer and pop recording artist. There are many, many voices all across the land that long to be heard… and discovered!

When I was young, I would sing every chance that I could. Driving anyone in my life crazy with the constant singing. I can take everyday events and relate them to a song which I then feel compelled to sing, of course.

Maybe someone in your life reminds you of this behavior, too… like I said there are so many, many voices across the land.

But I digress, I have decided to use my website building skills to build a site where anyone and everyone can listen to me sing, if you choose to. Simply click on the triangle on any of the songs on the right under Retta’s Music (every page has different songs) and be sure to let me know which ones you like the most. And, if you would prefer the classic CD version of any of the albums I have already recorded, they are available for purchase. Click on new country singer Retta Stone or visit the Retta Stone albums page.

My son is now grown and spreading his wings to fly in his own direction, and realizing that even though my empty nest syndrome may have kicked in, I can still dream. I have lived in my hometown since I was born, and have really traveled very little. But I have decided to share my dream and see where this journey will go… I am excited to see where it will take us.

I have been building websites for a while now, when an A-HA moment arrived! There is a huge catalog of music from performing over the many years in different circuits and at different times in my life. Why not share them with the world? Perhaps some of the stories, too. Maybe I have finally gone around the bend, but it gives me something to do.

Those who know me are laughing now, as they realize I am very rarely looking for something to do. Life is its very own roller coaster ride, but this is what I love, so hear we go!

I love creative feedback, so listen to the songs, and let me know which ones you think will be the best for our next project. As you click from page to page, you’ll notice different songs in the singles selection. These are the songs from the albums already recorded and some we’re market testing for Paradigm.

We’re working on our next album Paradigm. Paradigm means a different perspective which perfectly describes what I’m experiencing right now. So if you have an opinion you can share it in our pop artist Retta’s guestbook or use the Retta Stone contact form. And we’ll soon be adding a page where you can vote for the songs you want to hear on Paradigm.

Please enjoy all this site has to offer, and check back often as I will add new music every chance I get! In my spare time, that is :)

Thanks so much for humoring a middle-aged mom, and I’ll talk to you soon.

Wow! New Country Singer Retta Stone says thank you.

I am amazed by you. Thank you so much for such an overwhelming response to the website. This thrills me to pieces. As a new country singer, female pop singer and recording artist, Retta Stone is hopefully making her way. White Flag, Here Without You, Apologize, Breakaway are getting great traction, and I am so honored and privileged to have been given a gift I can share with the world.

For my friend Bill Dickerson

As many of you already know, my longtime friend and former producer Bill lost his long and courageous battle to cancer this week. I have posted this in tribute to someone I spent many years performing with and will truly miss. I know he’s already planning shows in heaven.

Please click here to visit the page in his memory and sign my guestbook with your favorite memory of Bill or post a comment below.
